The successful start of 2021 continues to inspire us. Bringing a little bit of light into this year, we are delighted to share that two projects of Backbone Branding, which were awarded Gold and Bronze at the Pentawards 2020, continue to attract the international design community and get high marks. Our ”Ani Dairy” and ”Mrgastan” projects were included in the Pentawards list of Design Trends of 2021, which are: minimalism and creativity, interactive packaging, innovative technologies in packaging, personality and characters to create a connection with consumers and, of course, art in the design.
Our Mrgastan Project is unique because we have turned our illustrations into augmented reality animation with the help of interactive technology and a specialized application, called Arloopa. This Augmented Reality experience and the transcending musical notes that emerge from the application invite you to jump right into the landscape, break into the scenery, and get a firsthand experience of the Armenian fields, mountainous nature, enchanting lakes, and flowery gardens, where the trees flourish and fruits grow.
As for Ani, the most appealing part of our work was creating an image of an adorable, loved mammal, which is the symbol of a village home, pure and natural food products – “Tsaghik kov” (Flower cow) which is associated with the healthiest and most beautiful mammal of the farm.
So we created this emotional engagement and set up the base for strong visual communication,
