The new identity was inspired by the name "4U" - a combination of letters and numbers, but also influenced by the acronyms commonly used among youth. We used this principle to design the gift boxes, creating a unique communication language using simple graphical elements. We gathered the most frequently used expressions for gift-giving occasions and incorporated them into the boxes, such as “I ‘heart’ U” and “U R A ‘star’”. The new box design adds value to the gifting experience by allowing people to express their emotions through meaningful messages. Our packaging speaks on behalf of the user, and helps them overcome any reservations they may have in saying important words to the people they are giving their gifts to.
