overview

Having successfully established the Royal Armenia "Boo" brand's distinctive owl-based identity, we continued our collaboration to facilitate its expansion into the competitive iced coffee market.

challenge

The primary task was to introduce a new beverage category that would instantly connect with the established brand, "Boo," which means owl in Armenian. The design had to ensure clear differentiation among the iced coffee varieties while keeping the existing emotional connection consumers have with the core brand icon.

solution

We developed a strategic design solution focusing on personified owl characters for each flavor. These owls were meticulously detailed with accessories and expressions that visually communicate the specific coffee type. The espresso owl features wide-open eyes and a strong, confident character, complete with a tie, highlighting the bold, intense flavor of espresso. The latte owl, with its stylish sunglasses, captures the cool, refreshing vibe of the iced latte. Meanwhile, the cappuccino owl, wearing a charming bow, reflects the creamy, balanced profile of cappuccino. For textural consistency, the latte and cappuccino owls are crowned with a swirl of whipped cream.

These delightful owl characters not only enhance the visual appeal but also make it easy for consumers to differentiate between the iced coffee offerings on the shelf.
